Since Q has covered the essentials of the family with pictures and the like I have decided to blog about one of my passions, Cougar Football. Now don't get me wrong. I love my wife and kids dearly. I just thought I'd go for the light, extracurricular side today.
As I grow older I have learned many of life's valuable lessons. One being it is imperative to recognize the things you like and embrace them, like a warm, fluffy blanket. Each of us is passionate about various things. I have long given up on why this is so, it just is. One of my passions is BYU Cougar Football.
I personally believe that one of the key reasons Al Gore invented the internet is today I can listen to Cougar Football over the internet. After living in the East for the last few years the only way I had to catch many of the games was to listen over the internet. And, while the last few seasons haven't made many of us Cougar fans boast in our team's success, it was comforting to know I could share in others misery.
I frequent www.cougarfan.com several times/week to get any latest news on Cougar Football proceedings. I post my analysis of the team on the discussion board there. I pay attention to what the so-called experts say about BYU this year. It is a strange, pointless passion, but it is mine...and I love it.
Out!

It's tough being a cougar fan!
Do the cougar fans really go to the games to watch the game, or do they really attend so they can hear the cougar marching band and watch the cheerleaders?
We'll do all this weekend at the big BYU/Air Force game. There's no game that is more fun than being in the stadium at the air force--that is as long as BYU wins!
