The Weekend, 18 months and more!

So, first and foremost...the baby is 18 months old!! Does that even seem possible? She cracks us up every day. She follows Carter around for most of the day and is pretty opinionated already. We tried in vain to break the binky last week but after 5 nights of no sleep (and weekend company coming) we gave in and gave it back to her. We're trying to gear up for our 2nd try. She has a cute squeaky voice that we love. We love our chunky monkey. And best of all, she started nursery on Sunday!!! What a relief. I took these pictures today and the clothes were really appropriate. While the rest of you are enjoying your last days of summer, the high here was 58 degrees today.

We had such a fun weekend. Nate and Biz had a layover here on their way to their assignment in Japan. The kids had a blast together and it was so much fun to hang out with them for a few days. The dads did a lot of trampoline wrestling with the kids and they even tried to sleep outside on the trampoline one night. They only lasted about 15 minutes before they were back begging for their beds (as we expected). It was just so much fun being together for a couple days. Biz helped me experiment with my new camera (thank you!!) Many more pictures to come. Al, Katherine and Makenna on the beach at Lake Washington. Luckily we had fantastic weather while they were here.
