Friday was Carter's preschool trip to the pumpkin patch/organic farm. We all had fun petting the farm animals, going through the corn maze, picking out pumpkins and learning the life cycle of a plant. By far, Carter's favorite part of the day was digging in the dirt for worms. We had a hard time getting him to leave the digging area and leaving the worms in their natural habitat. On the other hand, Makenna was super scared of the worms and cried whenever Al tried to get her to touch one. Too funny. The kids both loved the giant pumpkin and picking out their own pumpkins.
