Last night Al set up his little one man back packing tent. We couldn't believe how long it kept the kids entertained. Carter asked to sleep in it last night but he chickened out at the last minute. It takes up a lot of space in his room but he's having so much fun with it up that I think we'll let him keep it up for a couple more days.
Today we took our normal Sunday afternoon walk. The blossoms are bursting on the trees everywhere around us. One of my favorite smells in the whole world is blossoming apple trees. I had a tree right outside my bedroom window growing up and it reminds me so much of home. These trees here aren't very fragrant yet but they sure look pretty. It started to drizzle while we were out and we came home looking like drowned rats.

Oh my gosh! I'm so jealous of your green weather!! I can't wait!! Sleeping in a tent is the best thing ever (especially when you're a kid)! I'm glad you had such a nice weekend! Talk to ya later!
Dito, to Britt's comments, we are going crazy without nice weather!
Don't you love how kids can be amused by such simple things!
OH.... look how green and lush it is there. Boy, seeing that pic makes me miss WA so much. Here it just looks brown, and soggy, and dirty. Enjoy that weather!
