Consistency

I found this quote the other day and am so inspired by it. The longer I live, the more I realize that success in life is not dependent on one grandiose act. Success comes by small, consistent, daily efforts. I've spent the last couple months trying to reinstill my simple daily habits that somehow got lost during 9 awful months of pregnancy. So this month my goal is simple CONSISTENCY.

For the next 30 days I will:

Drink 100 oz. of water every day

Move for 30 minutes a day

Take my vitamin

Floss

Do school work with Addison daily

Eat within my points

Have meaningful daily Scripture Study

Balance my checkbook weekly

I know it's not a lot and some of it I'm doing well at already, but it is enough to keep me challenged. I'm needing to up my game again with my weight loss so hopefully making it a public goal will keep me on track! Wish me luck!!

That actually sounds like a lot to work on at once. Good luck Monique! God always strengthens us when we pursue righteous desires.

How about 80 ounces of liquid a day. Some how 12 1/2 glasses of water sees like a lot. Everything else seems doable -- well for super mom Monique. Good luck on your list for May.

okay, my first thought was that you'll definitely be moving for 30 minutes a day becuase you'll be running to the bathroom all day if you're drinking that much water! that is a ton! I shoot for about 48oz a day and even that makes me feel like I'm drowning sometimes.

sounds like you're ready to pull out of the post baby fog and are craving stability again. I remember that -- and it's so hard to do! even the simplest things. good luck! you're an inspiration.

I went to Women's Conference and Elder Bednar talked about just that. Likened our daily spiritual routines to a drip system. How daily consistant spiritual drips make us so much stronger than a weekend "dump" of spirituality.

You inspire me, woman. (Sorry to call you woman. Sounds like I'm some crazy dude from the south.) But it's true! The inspiring part.

Confucius say that she who drink too much water, might float the boat!

I'm cheering you on!
