Read in 2011

2011 was a great reading year for me. I loved so many of the books I read. For the 2nd year in a row I didn't read as much as normal. However, I think this is my new normal though since I can't imagine I'll find more time for reading this year than I did last. My plate is pretty full so I'm happy to get in what I can.

I did my list just like last year. Bolded titles are the books I read for my book club. Titles with * after it are my favorite reads of the year. I like books for different reasons. Some because the story was excellent. Some because of the way they made me think or from what I learned. Some because the writing itself was moving and beautiful.
