Kicked out

Tonight Al kicked me out of the house. I needed some "me" time. I had a particularly trying day with the kids today. We have got some spitfire personality at this house. Wonder where that all comes from. Anyway, #1 still does not understand that he cannot run around in shorts all day. It was cold today and we fought all day long about his wearing shorts and flip flops. I finally just took him to the post office in tshirt, shorts and flip flops. About 1 minute into the ride he said he was cold. Natural consequences, I tell you.

#2 has not only decided to give up her morning nap, but has cut her afternoon nap down to one measly hour. This means that she is grumpy for the rest of the day and I have no time to accomplish anything. I was trying to scrub down the bathroom this afternoon and she saunters in, sticks her hand in the bleach and proceeds to wipe it all over one of her brand spankin new fall outfits. Sigh. Then there was the not one, not two but three cartons of yogurt that she got out of the fridge and smeared all over the kitchen floor and herself.

So anyway, Al quickly ushered me out the door when he got home. I grabbed my purse and book and grabbed a bite to eat and read for an hour. Ahhhhhh. Peace.

So, this post is just really a hats off to my really awesome hubby. He is way too good to me and I love and appreciate him more than I express.

Love you babe!

Monique, I'm so sorry. Wish I were there to go to Cosi with you. That was a great night. Al, you're great!

Ohh...I'm jealous. I sure could use some alone time. It was great to talk to you today. I miss you! Great friends like you are hard to come by!

Okay, now, you really should have taken a pic of Makenna all bleached out! I would have liked to see that. Sorry, but I just had to laugh.

Al, you're a jerk. A big, fat jerk. You've set the bar so high that our women want to leave us and marry you!

An hour to yourself...how nice would that be! Incidents with bleach are so infuritating - I've stopped buying all together. Hang in there! :o)
