This is my B&W tree from last year. It mostly looks the same but this year I let the kids decorate it and I should probably spread the ornaments a little more evenly than they did. However, I love seeing their decorative touches so I probably won't.

I carried the B&W theme into the dining room as well:

You've probably seen the glitter trees on a few project blogs. I love them. My friend organized a craft night a couple weeks ago and I hammered the three black trees out in about an hour. Love them! I'm considering adding in another color to these rooms next year - maybe apple green or turquoise. I love how anything goes these days!

I LOVE this huge footed bowl that I scored at Costco earlier this fall. I bought my mom one for her birthday and we've both had so much fun decorating with it.
Finally, a picture of my "candy table" along with the new birthday lanterns my parents got me. They are huge and I *heart* them. Can't wait to change them up every season/holiday!
There you go mom!

Oh my gosh, that candy display would last about 2 seconds in my house! What self control you all must have!
I declare that you are better than Martha Stuart.
I'm with Kerry - I LOVE LOVE LOVE your candy displays, but I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old that would live off of candy if they could. They'd never eat anything else. I'm jealous!
Everything looks gorgeous Monique. I'm coveting your new lanterns!!
I think I have the same balls on top of my tree that's on the top of yours! So funny!
I got your Christmas card today and sent yours to your old address. I hope you get it!
