I really like keeping track of what I read during the year. I can't manage to keep up on Goodreads, which all my reader friends give me flack about. Sorry, it's just not a priority for me. Anyway, this is what I've read this year but I think I might be missing a couple of books from my list. I would consider this a light reading year for me. I typically average a book a week but this pregnancy has kicked my rear and I've been way more tired than ever before. I often only get a few pages read at night before I fall asleep. The bolded books are my ward's bookclub selections. My favorite books this year have * by them.

Oh, I am so glad you made a list. I am hoping to read a few of those. I am jealous that you can read so fast. I barely get through the one book a month. Someday I tell ya, someday!
Thank you for posting these. Also, thank you for marking which ones you recommend. I'm continually looking for good suggestions.
Great list! We read quite a few of the same books. I loved Fablehaven, and Hunger Games... also Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet, Firefly Lane, etc. I am reading The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton right now, and I LOOOVE it. I literally cannot put it down, I think you would enjoy it.
Sarah's Key is our next book club book, and I just got it for Christmas - glad to see it was a favorite! I need to order Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, I keep hearing awesome things about it - thanks for compiling this list!
good list! you have a lot of the same 'likes' as me (again, which is why I wish you would go on good reads.....i just do it every once in a while and catch myself up, but it's a great way to get book recommendations!) and now i've added some of yours to my growing list of to-read!
I don't know how you manage to read so much. You must have a book in your hand as you wash dishes and vacuum the floor. Or perhaps you never sleep and do most of your reading in a horizontal position. Or perhaps you're a speed reading maniac! Or perhaps it's all of the above. At any rate, I'm impressed! But I must remember that as a young toddler you wouldn't go to sleep unless ou were surrounded by books in your crib. Nothing's changed! --except you no longer sleep in a crib!

Oh my goodness. Where do you find the time? I read my first book in three years last year and I felt sooooo proud of myself. I'm seriously jealous.
