Loved this book! It's a fun, light read with a great storyline. Thanks for the recommendation Kristi!
This is a biography but it reads like a novel. It's a fascinating look at medical ethics in America.
Entertainment:
I watched this series shortly after I had Emery and was spending a lot of time at home recovering. It is a PBS series that previewed last fall. I watched it on Netflix streaming after a college friend recommended it on Facebook. Seriously FABULOUS!!! I was hooked and watched all 7 episodes in one weekend. Watch it, I promise you won't regret it!
Exercise:
So I know Zumba is all the rage right now. I LOVE it but usually can't make it to the classes in my area during the times offered. Someone suggested I try the Wii game and I was skeptical because I haven't enjoyed the other Wii workouts I have tried. THIS ONE ROCKS!!! It is a GREAT workout and tons of fun. My kids will do it with me and think we're playing a game instead of working out (sneaky!)
Other Products (aka giveaway time!):
I love a good accessory and am always on the hunt for cute pieces. I haven't been too interested in Target's jewelry offering for the past couple years but have hit the jackpot there this spring. I thought this necklace was adorable and versatile:
This has been my go-to lip balm this winter. I LOVE it. It has a slight citrus scent and is super shiny but not sticky. I can only find it at Wal-Mart and usually at the check out stand. It's cheap at about $3.50 a tube!
Favorite Easter Candy (I'd take these over Cadbury Mini Eggs ANY day):
Favorite Scent:
If you know me well at all you know I'm obsessed with my house smelling great. I have tons of candles and Scentsy scents that I'm always rotating through. I have also loved the Bath and Body Works plug-ins for years. I'm including a warmer plus my favorite Spring/Summer scent Island Margarita.
To enter leave a comment with something you're loving this spring! I'll pick a winner next Wednesday (April 20) so I can get it to you before the Easter weekend.

Love this post. Do you need special equipment for the Wii Zumba workout? It sounds like fun. I always enjoy reading your posts. :-)
Oh, and something I am loving this spring........I don't know if this qualifies, but I am loving having sister missionaries in our ward. We have had them in our home and they are going to be teaching a less active person in our home and I am loving that my kids can be part of this process. I am very excited. :-)
Such a fun post!!! I have heard a lot of great things about The Forgotten Garden! And I am definitely going to have to try those chocolate eggs... I can't believe that you would take them over Cadbury Mini's... they must be VERY VERY good!!! Anyway, something I am loving this spring is my OPI nail polish in Miami Beet. Favorite! Hope all is well!!!
Pick me ! Pick me !
Since you stole my chopstick, already. I love black bean burgers, the large stock pot, and the blood orange bubbly drink-all from Costco!
So fun! I hope I'm the lucky winner. I Love your fun finds. Oh, and I am with you on the Hershey eggs - so much yummier than cadbury mini's.
Okay, a favorite to share... Zen scentsy knock-off from Wal-Mart. It smells clean and fresh, but not perfumey or over-whelming. It's a great scent for Spring. I'm also loving the new soap scents and designs from B&BW.
I'm glad you liked the Forgotten Garden! I haven't read her third book, but The House at Riverton is another amazing story from Kate Morton.
Ps. Thanks for the sweet note. It's on the magnetic board in my mudroom, making me smile.
I agree with the book recommendation--both are very good! Something I've loving this spring...fruit salads. Oranges/kiwi/frozen blueberries, or oranges/bananas/strawberries/kiwi are a couple favorites. Yum!
Oooh, I love a giveaway! Favorites...ummm...I must be having a ho hum day because I'm having a really hard time thinking of anything I'm in love with! And that's usually not a hard thing for me. Right now I LOVE Bluebell ice cream. Seriously love it. We've got the banana split right now and I want to devour every bit myself. The butter crunch flavor is also majorly delicious. Also I'm really excited to start our Apologia Astronomy course next year. But I'm a nerd like that.
I will have to try the Hershey Eggs, I just barely found the Cadbury Eggs this spring!
I am also reading The Forgotten Garden (after reading Kristi's blog) and loving it!
Something I am loving this spring is my daffodils in my front yard and making Easter decor for my house!
Something I am love this spring is the fact I am almost done with my reading level testing of all my students. Onlye 1.5 left. (The 0.5 comes from being in the middle of a student before it was time to clean up.) It has been wonderful to see the growth they have made.
Oooooh fun! I am loving flowers and the color yellow. I am also obsessed with Airhead Extremes sour belts... That is probably a preggo thing though!
Something new that I love this spring is the new "Snappy Quilts" store that opened nearby. The owner is Nancy Boyd one of my designers from the Creche era. The fabrics are from companies I've never heard of before: Kaffe Fassett, Ty Pennington, Tula Pink, Lila Tueller,Jillily Studio, Dena Fishbein, Tina Givens, Jane Sassaman, George Mendoza, etc. It's a fabric store with nothing but very bright fabrics and unusual styles. See www.snappyquilts.com. Hurrah for contests.
Mom
I'm entering to try those chocolate eggs! I've never even seen them. And I LOVE Cadbury mini eggs, so if this is even better, then this is a giveaway contest I have to enter! :)
You do the BEST things! I loved all your favorites and am excited to read a new book soon! Something I'm loving this spring is all the wild blackberries along my street that are in season. We've already made jam and baked a berry pie. YUM!
Ok- totally craving chocolate now! Must try those eggs. I'm loving my new IPad, nutella, Dutch baby pancakes from Original Pancake house, and American Idol Wednesdays.
If I am feeling up to a giveaway two months after baby four is born I will be amazed. I am barely holding it together at this point!!!! Ok I am loving nerds jelly beans, the shell is bumpy and crunchy. But mainly loving the idea of never being pregnant again. :) this is a great way to get comments!
Fun! This Spring I am loving peanut M&M's which is really weird for me as I'm not usually a chocolate kind of girl. I swear the Easter colors make them taste better. I am loving maxi dresses and hope I don't have to worry about a tan or shaving my legs all summer, LOL. Also loving the Fiji Passionfruit lotion from B&BW. It is so yummy. And your baby. And I swear that's not bribery.
Giveaway = Awesome!!
(You're so stinking creative!)
My faves????
Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs
Lifesaver Jelly Beans
Cabochons
;)
I have candy I like way more than the Cadbury Mini Eggs, too. But I feel kind of rebellious saying it because so many people love them.
This spring I am loving the fact that I can appreciate it for what it is: an unpredictable transition between cold and hot. I usually spend winter hating that it lasts so long, but I've been much more Zen about it this year. It's a lot less stressful.
I love your blog. So many fun ideas. What am I loving this spring. I love that my kids are really starting to LOVE reading on their own. It just makes me giddy with joy to see them diving into a book. We are reading "39 clues" together as a family and I want to keep reading ahead. It is a fun read that the triplets have enjoyed. I also love that the spring makes me want to clean. It is a fresh warm start. I hope I actually get some cleaning done. Another favorite is smore's with peep's. Something new we tried this year. It is pretty darn yummy, I think I better start that zumba thing with all the sugar I have consumed with Easter so close.
I'm totally checking out your book/series recommendations. I love me a good period romance.
Also, pick me!
Well, spring has taken a dramatic turn for us, so I'm loving all the amazing people in my ward who have taken my kids for me, donated countless boxes, and more. Aside from that, I love my new turquoise dahlia ring from Charming Charlie, and wearing my fun yellow flower sandals again. And having a weaned baby. Having my body back to myself has been a very good thing. And planning our family pictures. Happy spring to you!
Fun giveaway!! What I'm loving this Spring is when Alex spots "popcorn trees" as we drive around town! Lets me know that warm sunny days are just around the corner! :o)
Hey friend,
I love the book recommendations too! HAPPY SPRING
what a fun list... brings me out of lurkdom! ;0) I'm with andrea, I love your baby. and coconut M&M's in big bags - is this just an Easter thing? Also, Groovy Grapefruit Scentsy and Smashbox eyeliner. :0)
Spring is just arriving here! I love seeing all the daffodils! Usually I'm a tulip girl, but we have deer here...they eat the tulips, but not the daffodils!
And, with regards to your give-away, please put me it! Do I get an extra entry because April 20 is my 35th birthday? (I'm not joking! It really is! :)
Love all your posts. I am liking... making fun skirts for the springtime and always chocolate. I really want to read the books your recommended.
I love a good giveaway. I am Margo's friend and she told me about your blog a couple years ago and after coming once I was hooked :) I love looking at it and seeing all of the fun and creative ideas you have!
Right now my favorite is the new lens I got for my camera - the Nikon 70-200mm/f2.8.
I also love http://pinterest.com - it is a great way to organize all of the amazing things I find while online.
Thanks, Tonya
P.S. Love the lipgloss - got some after you posted about it and I'm addicted!
I loved this post. I was ready for spring. I am always looking for new books so I'll have to try these. I am loving the spring weather as my boys always want to go outside. This way they play and play and drop to bed like flies :0) Janene
LOVE that necklace. Wishing I had Netflix and time to Zumba and read. (sigh...) Haven't tried that B&BW scent, but I love the Carribean one. It's in my bedroom and I feel like I'm in Hawaii. You should try that one too.
