I've got to say though, Disneyland at Halloween has got NOTHING on Christmastime there. That is still our favorite Disney trip and I don't think we'll ever go at another time other than Christmas. Of course, we still had a blast! When we planned our trip we had no idea that the first day in the park was Columbus Day and that every CA school has the day off. It was VERY crowded and I can understand why people who only go to Disneyland during peak season don't always enjoy their trips. The magic is just not there as much when it is really crowded.Having a Emery on this trip actually helped us manage our time really wisely and we got to ride a ton of rides. While Allen took the big kids on a ride Ems couldn't ride, I got into another ride line. Allen grabbed a parent pass and we swapped places and I got to take one of the kids on the ride while he waited in line. It really worked out to our advantage. We also have the Fast Pass system down perfectly and used that to our advantage too.
On all of our Disney trips our first ride is ALWAYS Peter Pan's Flight. I have no idea why we started this but it is always the ride we hit first:
I had a ball coming up with shirts/outfits for all of us to wear during the week and ended up doing quite a bit of sewing. We got rave reviews everywhere we went which was super fun. We even got stopped by quite a few cast members asking about our outfits which of course added fuel to my crazy fire! (You can't really see but the girls had black tutus and orange/white striped leggings with their Minnie shirts. I die.)The girls had an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the late morning and had a fabulous time getting dolled up together. The girls were in heaven and Addison was completely BLOWN away that she had her own fairy godmother! I took a TON of pictures in the boutique but the lighting was horrible. I got these cute shots afterwards though:

I was really bummed about the timing of things because I had planned to take the girls straight over to the Fantasy Faire to meet the princesses after their appointment but we skipped it that day because of the crowds/long wait.On the carousel:
We spent the rest of the day riding and eating! After watching the amazing fireworks show Allen took the little girls back to the hotel and I stayed at the park with C & M until midnight. It was really fun because we had saved up our fast passes and got to ride Space Mountain, Big Thunder RR, The Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones and Matterhorn among other things that night! We came home thoroughly exhausted but definitely ready for another day!

It looks like fun! The matching outfits are darling. The question is--did you wear a black tutu with leggins too? :)
AH!! I've been so busy with Nate's B-day... you beat me to posting about Disneyland!
Looks like your first day was great!
Love, love & more love the outfits - completely adorable!!!
There really is nothing better than Disneyland for the Holidays. The outfits are cute. So, so cute.
I'm almost 100% positive my friend Julie (Peterson) Seavey from Pinedale was there with her husband and boys the same weekend you guys were. Hilarious!
