Teacher Gift, Oodles of Bows & A Bouquet

I just wanted to post a picture of the adorable teacher gift I made for Carter's Preschool teacher last night. I love how it turned out. The idea is NOT mine, I bought the kit and put it together myself. Email me if you're interested in the website where I picked it up. It's a mini magnet board and I am going to add one of the class pictures that I've taken this year. I especially love the quote on it.
At the beginning of every season I sit down and make bows for all of Makenna's outfits. For the record, I absolutely HATE making bows. It is so tedious. But of course I love how they look on Makenna so I do it every single season and I know that someday she'll grow out of it. Al hates my bow making sessions even more than I do because I always need his help tying the bows. Luckily there were a lot of good season finales this week and I did all of these during my tv time this week. I think I only need one or two more sets and I should be set for the summer.

Finally, I just have to post this lovely bouquet of flowers that Al surprised me with this afternoon. He is just SO good to me. They smell so yummy too!

You really are amazing. Cute gift. Can't believe you make all those bows! They look great. You are very lucky to get such awesome flowers. Good luck this week!

I bet that teacher is just going to be so extremely happy when you give her that gift. Teachers need to get more appreciation (and money! :)); good on you Monique!

I do the exact same thing with my girls' bows! Jared hates it too because the mess sits on the table for a good week! It is time consuming, but worth it! If we lived closer we could have a bow making party and tie for each other! J. would be thrilled.....(i currently use thread, but thought about using florists wire...maybe would be easier?...)

Cute, cute, cute! I am still waiting for Abby to stop pulling the bows out of her hair to commit time to bow making, but I have a basement full of ribbons, and good intentions. You are awesome!
