Whew. I survived the week. Barely. Field day was nuts today. I was in charge of the popsicles/otter pops. Which means I cut open and distributed roughly 800 popsicles today. Needless to say, I came home a very sticky mess.
Thank you so much for your comments and support regarding my mom. She will be heading into exploratory surgery on the 24th and we will know much more after that. What a long, emotional and exhausting process this is. We are all in good spirits and are of course, hoping and praying for the best!
After this week I kind of just want to crawl into bed and get rested up. But... next week is spring break and I decided {very} last minute that I'd love to spend it in Colorado with my parents. Allen was able to priceline a very cheap ticket {with horrible, awful flight times and connections - poor guy} and we are hitting the road at 4:00 a.m. tomorrow morning to make the looooong drive to CO. Allen will spend a whopping 8 hours in the state and fly home way too early on Sunday morning so he can spend the week at work! Sorry to be mushy, but I just have to say how much I love my husband. He is such a trooper. When I said I wanted to go to CO {on Wednesday night}, he just said, "Ok, let's make it work." He is for sure getting the rotten end of the deal and he doesn't care AT ALL. I love you sweetheart!!!!! XOXOXOXO
So, we're off for another crazy adventure. I might post from the road but probably not. I'll be too busy enjoying some quality time with my parents and kiddos.
Have a great week!

Have a safe, smooth trip. Can't wait to see you!!!
Glad you made it through your "sticky" situation and week! Hope your trip to CO goes well. Being around loved ones is one of the best medicines. We are praying for your mom.
Have a wonderful time with your fam! Allan...yes, definately a trooper! That's really awesome.
I hope you have a great week. It sounds like a perfect place for you to be!
Monique, I am so sorry about your mom, my prayers will be with you! Have a fantastic time with your family in CO, how great to have a husband that sacrifices and loves you so much!! You guys are the best!
Monique, I've been praying every day for your mother (and dad AND for you)! thanks for the pix and updates - everyone's beautiful and Allen looks so handsome in his new shirt for his new job)! I love your decorations for the cabinets and fun valentines things - sorry I haven't kept up reading the blog - it's been crazy and I can only do internet by staying after work or coming in on Sunday nights. I love you. Mom Frost
Okay, just one point of clarification. While my trip is a little crazy I got to take a nap today (Sunday) and I can go to bed as early as I want.
So, sweetie, you are the trooper. And, with such wonderful in-laws how could I not want to spend time with you and them?
I love you! Be safe this week.
Allen
P.S. Thanks for the kind words. You are too good to me.

I'm glad you survived your sticky week!
How fun to get away for a few days. I know you love to be home with your family.
Thinking about your family, your Mom - and trusting you'll get good news after the surgery. :)
It seems like being with your Mom is the best place you can be right now. Nothing like rallying the troops in a time of need. How great for your parents to have your little ones in town to keep their minds off things to come.
I'm glad the news with your mom is positive up to this point. I am thinking about you and your family often. Still praying...
How lucky to have such a supportive hubby! It's obvious he's such a huge supporter of you, the kiddos, and your parents.
Have fun this week!
