Holy smokes. Time is flying. Addie will be 3 weeks tomorrow and I haven't even posted a thing about her at two weeks.
A few things about her:
* Hates the bink - super sad for us. Both C and M loved the binky and it makes life so much easier for mommy. Addie is so funny and gags on it any time we give it to her.
* Usually has one good night of sleeping followed by one not so good night. She tends to be fussy from about 4:30-5:30 a.m. Al is a trooper and usually takes care of her during the hour so I can get some much needed rest.
* Loves to be held. If she is fussy and not hungry, all we have to do is pick her up and she stops crying immediately.
* Is still pretty sleepy. I'd been having to wake her up during the day to eat all last week but she is waking up more the last few days.
*Is still the tiniest of peanuts. I'm sure she's gaining weight because her face is filling out a ton but she is STILL too tiny for 0-3 month clothes. She has so few outfits because everything I have for her is huge. (To put this in perspective, both other kids were out of 0-3 clothes by about 6 weeks).
* Has a few nicknames - Addie, Ads, Addie Lou and LuLu

Yesterday I stayed home while Al took the big kids to church. He wanted me to sleep but I just could not get enough of snuggling Addie. My alone time with her is so infrequent that I just relished the quiet 3 hours I had with her. I only put her down a couple times the entire time they were gone. I already feel like this time is flying by too quickly.

Truly, the fastest thing ever is the newborn phase. It is fleeting, which I think is good and bad. I really feel like I was just there, and here Lucas is approaching 9 months! So snuggle her all you can! She's precious, that hat is too.

I feel you pain on the hating the binky thing; Dane always hated it as well as bottles, so I have pretty much never been away from him for more that a couple hours. He doesn't hate it anymore now that he's teething, but he has yet to figure out that he can keep it in his mouth by sucking, though he's making progress...now that he's five months old. Hopefully you will be luckier
She is pure heaven in that hat! LOVE her, LOOOVE her! I don't blame you for snuggling the whole time - she is an absolute doll!!!

watch out, if she won't take the binky she's likely to use you or her fingers (I would know....ugh). good luck with that!
