Wish List

About a year ago I started keeping a list of my wants and needs for major purchases we were planning to make (knowing we would be moving into a new house, etc.). It is fun to see what direction my style has taken in the last year and even more fun when I get to purchase something off the list. In the last 6 months we have purchased numerous things off of said list and have decided to go on a major spending hiatus. Conveniently this also coincides with the birth of Baby Girl and since I fear I will never leave my house again with three kids, this should be fairly easy to stick to.

HOWEVER (of course there is a however), a couple new things made it onto my wish list this week. First of all, I want these GORGEOUS pillows for my living room (in green):Just so you can get the full effect, this is the cover of the newest PB catalog. I only show this because my living room furniture is the same very neutral color as this couch and I love how the green looks on it.

So far I have yet to convince Al (or myself really) that we should spend $50 per pillow. But I love them and think they may serve as inspiration for where I want to go in the room.

I am also eyeing this coffee table for the family room:

I love the vareigated color and all the texture it would add. The price is a little steep for me though and I am just crossing my fingers that PierOne or Target makes a knock off in the next season or so.

And I have to mention my LOVE for my mama who has the same decorating style that I do. As soon as I got the catalog this week I called my mom and we pored over it together for a good 30 minutes and she gave me lots of great ideas.
