Fancy tree in the living room. This year I pulled out the brown and added a lot more sparkle. The beautiful tree picture still alludes me but the tree REALLY is beautiful and sparkly.

Living room table:
The picture do these no justice. They are sparkly and pretty too. I'm trying to decide if I like the less-is-more look here. Entering the kitchen: My beloved Charlie brown trees. I added the red berry wreaths to all the windows in our main living area - super cute! And no, I still have NO window treatments in my house. Sigh. Working on it!

My buffet:
Apothecary jars (yes, the M&Ms jar was once full - scary):
Bonus room: Stockings on the wall (oh my gosh, how much I miss decorating a mantle!!). The angel stocking on the left is the one I added this year. See that lonely little hook on the left? Yep, Al made me add it just in case!
Part of my snowman collection (I weeded this out A LOT) on top of my armoire upstairs:
The crowning jewel this year is this wall hanging my mom made me. It is really big and GORGEOUS!! I am so thrilled to hang it up this year. The pictures, of course, do it no justice. It's amazing in real life!
I haven't set up any of my nativities yet because some are being used for our enrichment tonight. I also have a centerpiece idea that I need to put together and I need to add a picture of our front porch. Oh, and you can see our upstairs/kids tree when I post my advent review on Sunday! Watch for more soon!
Ok, your turn!!

I love you for playing! I wish I could hop on over and look at all my blog friend's homes, just like I do my neighbor's homes, at Christmastime. But, this will have to do...
Your decorating is DECADENT! Your little wreath is the window is inspired, and the little trees are so danged cute. Delicious apothecary jars too! Your sparkly tree is so elegant and magical. I'll bet it's all even better IRL, and I'm sure you are all enjoying it so very much. TFS!
The wall hanging from your mother is awesome! So fun to have.
I always adore your decorating. You are so creative. Hey we just made the "stockings hung" signs for our Super Saturday. Everyone put extra nails. My girlfriend had the best idea. She is going to find a really cool looking key to hang fromt he extra hook and that will be Santa's key to get into their home. I thought that was super cute. Can't wait to see more pictures. I will post some of our decorating fun when we are done.
Pretty! I haven't had time to decorate yet:O
okay, i'm on day 2.5 of decorating....maybe i'll get around to photos sometime. love the sparkly tree, think it looks great even though tree pics are hard. i have 4 chandeliers i want to jazz up and haven't thought how -- love your idea, i may want to copy it!
Your blog is some serious eye candy right now - the new background is ooh la la lovely, as is the picture of your three kiddos. And your decorations are fantastic. I am looking for an apothecary jar just like the one your (well-eaten) M&Ms are in - did you get it recently? If so, please tell me where! And I used to have a lot of snowman decorations, and this year have also decided to part ways with a lot of them. Thanks for sharing your holiday stuff with us!
OK, I am feeling seriously intimidated by how cute your whole house is! I won't be posting pictures of mine (probably) because it looks so mish-mashed and cluttered by comparison. I would definitely say that you have achieved Less-is-More. Stunning! Your house could be in a magazine.
Very pretty! I won't be playing along, ours is pretty sad (I hate our low celings, a 6ft tree just doesn't cut it!).
Cute decorations, Monique! I love the little snowman plate on the top of your armoire! I have that exact same wall hanging that my mom made me a few years back! :o)
What cute Christmas decor, I love it!
Your home is so festive!!! I'm feeling a tad bit guilty now since all I've done is hang a wreath on the front door.
Your house looks like Martha Stewart was there. Great job! Wish my decorating was finished. But we did have 3 and then 4 wonderful workers of Mexican origin arrive on Friday evening. They promptly whipped out the skim coating on the dry wall (all the while talking about 100 miles an hour and listening to Spanish music on their radio) and then they returned yesterday to do the texturing. We can't start the painting until tonight (to make certain everything is dry)and then we can put up the moldings and then we can have the carpet laid and then we can wipe the fine layer of dust off everything and then we can finish decorating and then we can clean the house and then we can begin thinking about Christmas activities. We have lots of time, though - 10 days until Nicole and first wave of grandchildren arrive.
Is insanity contagious?
Mom
Your house looks so festive and fun all decorated for Christmas. Seeing it makes me want to go to the store and buy some more decorations. :) Your tree is beautiful!!
I love seeing your house all decked out for Christmas, so festive and pretty!
