Scene from this morning

It's been one of those mornings. Addie is sick again. Poor thing. She just has not been her self the past few days. She won't eat and whines constantly unless she is being held. I took her to the doctor yesterday and they assured me she just has a cold. Early this morning when I went in to get her she was covered in throw up. I gave her a quick bath, changed and sanitized the crib and went to get the big kids up. Makenna had wet the bed (which has only happened a couple other times in her life) so I gave her a bath and stripped/sanitized her bed. We got Carter to school without further incident.

I got Miss A down for her morning nap and she promptly threw up again. So I started the routine of bathing, cleaning and sanitizing again. In the mean time, Makenna decided she was hungry and took matters into her own hands. This is what I found after I had gotten Addie cleaned up and back down for her nap:
I had already toasted the toast for her but she brought everything upstairs and had turned on a Disney Channel show. I so love this girl!

Poor Addie. I think sick babies are the saddest thing in the world. Worse than little kids since they can't communicate their needs. I hope she's on the mend!

Does anyone else feel like they're having a hard time prioritizing this holiday season?! I have SO many things to finish and find myself doing random non holiday related projects instead. Like scrubbing all the tile on my hands and knees last night at midnight. Or choosing yesterday to balance the checkbook that hasn't been touched in months. I have seriously GOT to get my act together!

I hope Miss Addy feels better soon. Your so right, there is nothing worse than seeing your baby so sad and sick.

Miss M. is too much! Oh, and she still reminds me of Kate in every pic!

I feel you too. We got off to a rough start ourselves. Hang in there and hopefully the rest of you will stay well!

I know exactly how you feel. Crewe and I are each on our third outfits for the day because he keeps throwing up. I hope little Addy gets better very soon. It's torture not knowing exactly what's bothering them and how to help.

I'm so sorry that Addie is sick again. Sounds like it was a tough day. It is hard to prioritize, especially with a babe that is puking. Maybe in the next week you'll feel more like getting into things.

Sick babies are the worst--hang in there! I feel the same way about the holidays, too! So behind on things I normally would have done by now.

I am having the worst time prioritizing too! I have so much holiday stuff to do but end up cleaning or ironing instead. The real stuff is too overwhelming or something. I love Miss M...such a helper to feed herself. She's so CUTE!

McKenna and her toast makes me laugh... way to fend for yourself!

Sorry to hear about sick little Addie. It's so hard to get anything done when you have sick kids. :(

I have holiday projects ADD as well. A sure sign we all have too much to do... good luck!

Days like these are so hard. I hope everyone is feeling better especially your little babe. Miss M is a girl after my own heart, toast and PB, nothing better...nothing!
