Happy Things

Where did this week go? Here are a few things on my happy list today:

1. It's Friday. Need I say more?
2. I made homemade bread AND homemade strawberry jam this week. Bye bye diet, hello deliciousness.

3. I have this glorious stack sitting in my book basket waiting for me. Sigh. Beautiful. {Can you see why I never buy books?!}

4. This fun print I got for the kids' bathroom. Love the message. Love the colors. Love the owl. Love it on my red shelf (life #4 for this shelf - it's been pink, white and green before it's rebirth as red)

5. Valentine candy in fun jars. Thought I'd take a picture of it before all the candy disappears.

6. This banner I put together (from a purchased kit) for Carter's birthday. I decided to forgo the traditional balloon bouquets and opted for this instead this year. Yummy colors. Yummy paper. Looking at the picture, it needs more ribbon and a better photographer - this is way cuter in real life!

7. These beauties. Taunting me. Begging to come live at my house. The second they go on sale, they are mine!That's it today. Happy weekend!

You've got me swooning over those shoes!!! I think they might need to come and live at my house, too. That print for the kids bathroom is SOOOO cute, too! Happy Things indeed.

How could the season premiere of LOST get left off your happy list? I'm happy just thinking about two more episodes next Wednesday!

I love that print. It's by the same girl as the one on my blog. And the cute robots...I love her! A Girl Named Zippy is one of my favorite books too. I loved it. I need some of that bread right now. I fear bread is something I will never master.

Call us before you come...we can do lunch for sure!

And happy belated bday to Carter!!!

There is no way I could keep that candy ("nonny" as Lacey calls it) in my house! Betweenn me and Lacey (who inherited my sweet tooth), it would be gone in a split second! btw, I love your granite counter tops and Happy Birthday Nicole!

How's Makenna's eye - are stitches out yet? Carter/Indiana Jones - he's such a boy. What a tribute you wrote to Nicole - she looks great and is such a friend and sister. LJ read part of "Zippy" to me - it's honest and poignant and funny. Mom Frost
