Bittersweet

The end of the holiday season is always bittersweet for me. I'm sad to say goodbye to family (Al's family left this morning), I'm sad to take the decorations down and sad to put the Christmas music away. But it's also exciting to start a new year, fresh with possibilities. I love having a new blank calendar and planner just waiting to be filled in with the year's activities.

I think 2007 is going to be a great year. I have lots of goals that I'm ready to tackle. My brain is stuffed full of a million ideas of things and projects I want to do this year. Seriously, I have so many ideas that they keep me up at night. 2007 will bring another move for our family, and this one should be permanent. We are hoping to grow individually, as a couple and as a family (perhaps, quite literally).
