A few funny things Carter has said the past couple days...
- Today he told me he wanted Aunt Nicole and Uncle Jon to be his new mommy and daddy. When I asked him why he said that they wouldn't make him go to quiet time like we do. I told him that no, Aunt N and Uncle J would actually make him take a nap every day, like his cousin Brinley does. He thought about it for a few seconds and said, "Never mind, I guess I'll just keep you and daddy."
- Yesterday Carter informed me that he was ready to open some more Christmas presents. I tried to explain that Christmas is only once a year, etc. Then he said, "Let's just write Santa another letter and explain to him that I want it again now." Well, we did write Santa another letter yesterday afternoon. It says: Dear Santa, Thank you for the presents. My favorite was the spiderman toothbrush (HUH?!?) . I love playing with my new toys. Please bring me some again tonight. Love, Carter
- A couple nights ago Carter and Makenna were in the bath together. Carter said, "Mom, does Makenna have Nimples?" I think he is confused between dimples and nipples. Too funny.

I laughed so hard I made Charlie cry!
This really is a fun age. We never run out of entertainment from Avery either. I really wish we could have a playdate again. wouldn't these kids be a hoot?
