I've had this idea rolling around in my head for awhile. A couple months ago I bought these:
And turned them into these:
These were so easy and cheap and I love how they turned out. M wore the red pair out the other day and pretty much everyone was dying over the cuteness of them. I made all 5 pair of shoes for about $30-including the shoes. They are a much needed touch of spring around here. (PS- still haven't decided what to do with the green pair.)
