Leaving Seattle

Al and I have compiled a list of all the things we want to do before we leave here. Seattle is such a great city and we're having a hard time squeezing it all in. On Saturday we took the kids to the Ballard Locks and botanical gardens and walked around the very cool neighborhood. I know it sounds like a weird thing to do but it was really fascinating watching the boats go from Lake Washington down into the Sound. We ended up randomly running into some friends from our ward while we were there. It was a really fun afternoon. On the way home we stopped at the famous Seattle eating establishment, Dick's Drive In and had their tasty burgers, fries and shakes. You'll just have to bear with us while we have lots of touristy posts for the next month or so. Here are some pictures from the Locks:

That picture of Makenna is darling! So who from our ward was at the locks when you guys went over there? I'm guessing they took that cute family shot you've got posted.

You always make me miss Seattle sooo much. There are so many wonderful things to do and see there. Take advantage of it all while you can. Have you been over to the Olympics and the coast yet? It's a must see!
