Whew!!

It's been a whirlwind of a week. On Wednesday, my friend and former mission companion Lizzy came for a visit and she stayed through today. We've had so much fun together. We've shopped, scrapbooked, eaten at lots of yummy places and seen lots of Seattle sites. We went on a ferry ride across the sound, went to the top of the Space Needle and she took Carter to the Aquarium today while I stayed home with sick Makenna. We also went to Eugene, OR to visit our Mission President's wife, Sister Martin. It was wonderful to see her and catch up for a few hours. It's amazing how you just feel so comfortable around some friends, no matter how much time has passed since you last saw them. We've really had a great time together.

Now it's back to real life and getting ready to move.
