It's official. I've felt the baby move. Yay! Hooray! This is my absolute favorite thing about being pregnant (the list is short, I assure you). I've suspected it for a few days but it's been undeniable today. I know, it is really early. But, I've been able to feel all of my kids move really really early. Something about my uterus being tilted or something (or so saith the doctor). I love and adore feeling my little one move.
This also begins the obsessive compulsive part of my pregnancy. Once I can feel the baby move, it is a requirement that I feel him/her move every time I get up in the night (2-3 times most nights). Sometimes I lay there for a very long time. Several times I have woken Allen up in tears because it has been so long since I have felt the baby move. He is a patient man and usually gets me a glass of orange juice to get the baby moving and stays up to wait it out with me. Such a good man.

It's always so amazing to feel those early movements - it really is a miracle! Good luck with baby moving at night for your peace of mind. Can't wait for news of the big ultrasound!

So awesome!!! I think you should rent a doppler - so much fun AND peace of mind - I had no other choice, I think Jonathan would have sent me to the guest room - lol. Al is a sweetie!
Hooray for baby movements! And I totally understand about making your husband wake up and worry with you. I've done that to Joel several times, too.
You always make me laugh Monique!LOL! I love how you stay awake to feel the baby move and cry and wake up Allen if you can't :), I hope you don't think I'm terrible for thinking that's funny, because I could see how it also could be very stressful. Have fun w/the interior designer! That'd be awesome to have one.
Aw...I love that part too. Congrats...it won't be long at all now until you find out who's moving all around in there!
I love feeling the baby move. I can usually feel it pretty early too. I have to say it's great for your hubby to support you like that. I have to pick on Andrew for just a minute. ( he is sitting next to me:-) I couldn't even get him to stay awake with me when I was in labor with Abigail. And birth was imminent.
This is on my short list of things I love during pregnancy, too. Yea for you!!! I can't wait to find out what you are having!
Since I'm done having babies it's fun to hear about yours and yes does make me a little sad! By the way Jon said about a month ago, should we go for #6?
