Now that our pool has closed, desperate times call for desperate measures. After school yesterday we stopped to get an
Icee (who knew I would have to have a DRINK budget when living in the desert) and then we ran to Home Depot to buy a sprinkler. I decided to let the kids jump on the trampoline with the sprinkler going under it. It was one of my favorite summer time activities as a kid and I was interested to see if my kids enjoyed it. It's good to know that some things don't change, even after 25 years. The kids LOVED it. They played on the trampoline for at least an hour without so much as a fight or word of complaint. Other moms know that this is a feat in and of itself.

Luckily, our friends are taking pity on us and we have a couple of swim dates planned for the rest of the week!

Those are the cutest pictures I have seen in a long time! Of course I think your kids are adorable all the time, but those pictures are the type that you blow up to 5x7's and put on the wall. Way too cute! Good job mom!

We loved doing that too when we were kids. I tried doing it for my girls this summer, but the hose wouldn't stretch to the trampoline! Maybe next year! I love the pics!
