Goodbye to a great Man

We just heard that President Gordon B. Hinckley passed away tonight. My shock has been replaced by sadness. He has done so much good for the church during his lifetime and has been the prophet for my entire adulthood. He was dearly loved and will be missed. Our prayers go out to his family at this time.

oh, Monique... thank you for the information. (it's sad that blogs are my news source!) What a sweet man.

I hadn't heard! He is the only prophet that I ever knew. He was the prophet when I joined the church. Thanks for your post, or I might have missed the info and found out much later!

Yes, I've already shed a number of tears. It is so sad. He was so incredibly beloved.

We loved him dearly...obviously we are of the same mind, as I just put a post on our blog, too.

I remember exactly where I was when I learned Presidents Kimball, Benson, and Hunter had died and I am sure I will remember tonight as well. What a wonderful man!

President Hinckley was short in stature but a giant in life. How he will be missed. I felt a twinge of sadness each time I thought of him today. But, I'm certain that he and Marjorie are hand-in-hand and skipping along together today--enjoying each other with sweet abandon!!
