Just call me Sausage Toes...

I had my weekly appointment today and I am thrilled that I am dilated to a 3 and about 50% effaced! Whoop! Not that it means anything for me since my babies never, ever come on their own. We're sticking to the Feb. 4/5 induction date and my last appt is next Friday. Wow. I can't believe we are down to the final week.

I have reached a new low in pregnancy this week - my wedding ring no longer fits me. Even when I was 42 weeks pregnant with Carter, I could still wear my wedding ring. I am VERY very puffy this pregnancy (hence, the sausage toes). And really I can only squeeze into two pair of my shoes. I think I will be wearing flip flops to church this week (hideousness). I do hope that all the water I'm retaining accounts for some of my weight gain (which has been rapid and steady the past month, making up for my little gain I had earlier - sigh).

We're pretty much ready to go though. We have weekend company coming tomorrow and the kids' birthday party next week and a few other odds and ends to tie up. I want to finish some scrapbook layouts I've started this month, finish some bows for the girls, get a pedicure and then I'm all set! SO excited to meet this baby Girl!

Hang in there! You are so close! If it makes you feel any better, I can never wear my wedding rings much past about 20 weeks (at least with summer pregnancies). Have fun wrapping things up as you get ready for her arrival! I think you will love 3 - it's a bit of an adjustment (really isn't each one?), but I am loving it. Watching the sibling relationships grow is the most amazing thing. Can't wait to see her!

I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring since my early stages of pregnancy with Ryan, who's now almost 20 months old. By the way, I've been checking out your blog for a while now...ever since I saw it on the list of family info that cousin Valerie sent out a while back. Awesome blog! :)

I can't wait for you to present this baby girl to the world!

Maybe TMI, but I think that water weight is a good thing. That's what I had w/my babies and it goes away super fast!!!! And wear those flip flops to church with pride!

i'm sorry, i can sympathize. The day I was induced with Briar I woke up at 5am to do my own toes. In the delivery room I got about 4 compliments on how fantastic my feet looked. I couldn't decide if that was good or bad, since it was probably the ONLY thing that looked good! But, it made me feel prettier going in and coming OUT of the hospital. When you're this far along you need to feel pretty.
