So these lists of random things are pretty fun to do. Here's a few more I've thought of since I did the last list:
1. I hate when little kids have long fingernails. Gross, gross, gross. They are usually ragged and DIRTY. Yuck. I make sure my kids have nice trimmed and clean nails.
2. I am obsessed with my own feet. I can't stand when my feet are dry or my heals are cracked. I spend a lot of time taking care of my feet. A lot more than ever since I now live in a climate where I can wear sandals year round.
3. I constantly eat while I cook. It's a really bad habit but everyone in my family does it. We are pickers. I like to taste food while I'm cooking it. Lots of times I'm not hungry when I sit down to eat because I've been taste testing the entire time.
4. I read the Ensign cover to cover every single month.
5. In the year 2000 I lived at 6 different addresses. See if you can follow:
Provo to Alexandria, VA
Alexandria, VA to a new house in Alexandria, VA
Alexandria, VA to my parents house in CO (for 3 weeks until the condo I was moving into was ready)
My parents house in CO to the condo I rented in Aurora, CO
Aurora, CO BACK to Provo, UT (a potentially short term move for Al and I to decide if we were going to get married)
Provo, UT (my cousins house) to a condo in Provo, UT (after Al and I decided to get married and I moved there permanently).
Luckily this was back in the day when everything I needed could fit in the backseat and trunk of my little Honda Civic!

Ah, desert feet. A couple of times on my mission my toes cracked and bled from tracting in closed toed shoes in that miserable heat.
You always have beautifully manicured feet. Now I know why!
So what are your favorite foot care products? I need to get mine ready for sandal season!
I think that's great that you read the every ensign cover to cover. the only ensign i read cover to cover are the general conference issues, but I'm going to start reading them all now. thanks for the idea! i've also been perusing the Friend, they have some fantastic activity ideas and stories in there to do during the week or for FHE
Ugggg, kids finger nails... it bugs me too! I try to keep up on it, but sometimes it's a two man job!

Great randomness! Love it. Long fingernails are totally disgusting on kids - always dirty. I'm a dinner sampler while making it too. And I will never forget when Camille announced that her new roommate was named Monique, and I said it couldn't possibly be the same Monique I knew! Sure enough, it was! Talk about random... Oh, and I usually read the Ensign cover to cover each month. Even if I think an article doesn't pertain to me, I usually find some little valuable piece of info. Really, the Ensign always makes me happy.
I hope you never saw Jason's fingernails or toenails--they are almost always ragged, long, and awful. It's almost always a battle to get him to cut them, too. EWWW. :-)

I hate long nails on little kids too, totally gross and slimy. Also, thanks for the 72 hour kit ideas. We just have ours in our backpacking packs and camping "bin", but you had some great ideas on additions I can make. Thanks and hope you guys are enjoying that lovely spring weather in AZ! JJ ps my poison ivy is just NOT going away, it doesn't itch anymore, but you can totally see where it was/is and it's so yucky!
