I really hate to have to do this but we feel like it's time to make our blog private. There have been some recent events that make us feel like it's time to keep our life a little more private. We get about 400 unique visitors to the blog and I really don't know where a lot of that traffic is coming from and some of it makes me nervous. But I also want people who we might not know but read the blog from another source to feel comfortable coming back. So, even if I don't know you, please leave a comment or email me at qballf@gmail.com if you would like an invite to the blog. If you're coming from another source, let me know how you got here. For all my friends and regulars, please email with a current email addy so I make sure to get everyone.
Thanks for understanding. I know it's inconvenient to have to sign in but we really feel it's best for now. We'll officially go private in about 10 days, hopefully getting the word out to everyone!

Aww, I feel badly, because I'm always clicking on links and then links on those blogs...I'll bet it's all harmless visitors like that... I hate that I'm worrying other bloggers out there...

I totally support you! I've been toying with this idea for some time and recently installed a tracker. It has been bothering me to see where people are lurking from....places where I SWEAR I don't know anyone! 400? Yikes! I track ours and I would freak out if we had that many. What tracker are you using? I'm using statcounter and it's ok.
