Here's a quick conversation I had with Carter this afternoon. It seriously melted my heart. He came downstairs looking for some help building a lego creation. I grabbed him and gave him a quick squeeze.
Me: I love you buddy
Carter: I love you too mom
Me: You're so handsome
Carter: You're so pretty
Me: You're so smart
Carter: You're so beautiful
Me: You're so funny
Carter (pausing to think for a second): You're so TOTALLY funny
Sigh. These are the moments that make motherhood so rewarding!
