Are you kidding me?

So this morning I was rushing around trying to get my kids out the door for school. And I caught my baby toe on the moulding of one of the doors. I hear a crunch and felt a shooting pain go straight up my leg. Yep, I'm pretty sure I broke my toe. So. Much. Pain.

I've been hobbling around all day and finally had to pop a post-baby pain pill since the Motrin wasn't touching the pain. It is killing me - it's sore all the way through my foot and into my shin. You've got to be kidding me. I have WAY too much to do this week to be down with a broken toe. Activity days tomorrow, Shopping/Cleaning/Preparing for company, Black Friday shopping... hello, this could not be any more inconvenient. And really, I'm trying not to be a baby here but it hurts BAD!!

Maybe I will actually get caught up on some blogging since I've got to stay off my foot!

darnit! I'm so sorry. Stubbed toes are miserable, so a broken toe must be torture.

My dad dropped a brick on his big toe once...it was one of the most painful experiences of his life. Toe pain is hideous, especially because it hits with every movement...good luck with this week, maybe it's a sign you need to slow down. ;) By the way, who is coming to visit you?

OK, I can TOTALLY relate. A few years ago, I broke 3 toes within one year. Must have been a clumsy phase for me. It is excruciating pain. I am SO SORRY, and hope it heals soon! I am looking forward to some good posts as a result of your misery ;)

Why is it that toes hurt so much when bumped or broken or stepped on? So sorry about the mishap. Perhaps you an slow down a little and read and read some more. Busyness seems to be a disease in our family. Hope the pain flees soon!

Been there, done that, more times than I like to count. I think I've broken all my toes at least twice each. (They didn't call me "Princess Grace" when I was a kid for nothing.)

Hope it feels better soon, and that it doesn't slow you down too much!

P.S. Love your "right now" list. I may have to steal it for my blog.
