This is a picture of our family. I am on the far left. Notice anything funny about me? Like my CHEST?!?!? I asked him about it and he got really embarrassed but said I'm always feeding Addie... I guess art is imitating life here? We laughed and laughed about it. Then I called his primary teacher (who is a good friend of mine) and she and I laughed about it too. Funny boy! Art imitates life?
I didn't even know what to title this post since it's so preposterous. Last week Carter brought home this lovely piece of art from church:

How funny, Monique! The other day I was subbing and we were making bow ties for Humpty Dumpty. It was a silent art project so the kids didn't know what they were making- just what my example looked like. This cute little girl, whose Mom is a Dr. asked if that was going to be a bra. Thankfully no one else picked up on her question or if they didn't- they didn't know what a bra was.
Oh my goodness. Hilarious. I LOVE that he is so observant. So funny, it's so great how kids think.
LOL! Really, that is so funny.
That's hilarious! If you ever go to Seattle for a visit you should take him to the museum of flight, he'd love it! They have a space craft that you can actually get inside...it's amazing! b/c the astronauts need to exercise they have this tredmill that's stored in the ceiling of the space craft, you pull it down and strap yourself to it! They had lots of really cool stuff to look at, read and play with.
That is TOO FUNNY!!! Actually, the first thing I noticed though, was the small child flattened on the floor, and I hoped it wasn't Addison getting bullied - lol!
i too didn't notice the boobs (probably cause A's been drawing them for a while), but the baby on the floor and thought maybe pirate C had attacked baby A. Just be glad I guess that he didn't give you nipples too! :) Definitely save that pic and put it in the scrap book.
p.s. avery now draws me 9 months pg...it's very flattering!
Too funny! I will admit, your chest is the first thing that popped out at me :) - in the picture of course.
Sooo funny! I think all of my girls have drawn some embarrasing, anatomically correct pictures at some point or another.
Oh, that is too funny! And that it happened at church! I hope you save the picture as future blackmail. ;)
