At long last, after months and months and months of looking for the perfect master bedding, I've finally found it! It was pretty affordable which is an added bonus. I am just itching to get going on our room but we have a few more storage/organization projects we need to get to first. By then it will probably be the holidays... so be looking for pictures sometime after the first of the year. (Does anyone really believe I'll be able to hold off for that long?!? We shall see!)
I hate to even mention this, for fear of people thinking I'm CrAzY, but I also purchased the girls' Christmas dresses today. You think I'm crazy, don't you? They are divine x a million. And they are festive but don't scream Christmas so they can be worn for longer than the season. I have to give a shout out to Hilary for pointing them out! (All you Hilary blog readers now know exactly what dress I'm talking about).
I also finally purchased the last piece of the wedding outfits - Carter's shoes. Why are little boy clothes so difficult? It took me forever to find something suitable for him in the chosen (fabulous) color palette. Whew!
AND finally, I got our tickets to the see The Lion King on stage. I'm so excited! I've been dying to see this show for the longest time and it is coming to Phoenix at the beginning of next year. We had a gift certificate from Christmas last year that we have been waiting to use for the PERFECT show!
Carry on, that is my frivolity for the day!

Who is getting married?
You are going to LOVE Lion King! It is everything you've heard it will be... and more. I just got my tickets, as well.
Can you post the link to the Hilary's blog for the dresses? Curiousity is peaked.
Oh sure, annon, let me just hook you up! Not! Hilary's blog is private anyway, but please don't post questions annonymously and expect me to respond.
You are killing me here... all telling & no showing? I don't know if I can be that patient.
And, I don't think you are crazy at all for buying the girls dresses. I'll bet I've bought even earlier - like a year before, sometimes. When you see just the right thing you've got to grab it!
I love how feisty you are w/ anons!!! ;o)
I am still in the air about the dresses. She said she'd make me a bigger one for $3 more. So it's a real possibility. I just have to decide if I'm crazy buying short sleeves when I live in IDAHO!!!
Can't wait to see your bedding!
First, I really like the new look to your blog! It's been a wierd few days without internet, so I'm just now seeing it! Yep, I hear you with the boy's clothes. If you know of a great place to get boys' church pants (not just kackies), clue me in!
We saw The Lion King a while ago - it was excellent! Anxious to see pics of your new bedroom furniture - sounds fantastic!
I LOVE, LOVE those dresses!
And Hilary you'd be crazy not to buy them - I think the price is a steal!
The Lion King will be amazing! How fun!
Hey, Q, where did you get you bedding? We are just starting on thinkning about getting our room doen. I need help with the bedding!
wanna see the dresses!
I want to see it ALL! I'm excited for you for your master. I just FINALLY got nightstands, now I only need lamps, and things to hang on my walls. I'm sure it will take me an equally long time to do that.
I too want to see the dresses, and NO I don't think you're crazy. I've been thinking about the girls already. Fortunately/unfortunately A's from last year fits...but I dont' know about B. Man, when I have three girls I'm going to go B-R-O-K-E.
