Pipsqueak!

Addie finally had her 6 month appointment today. She continues to be our teeny tiny pipsqueak baby. Here's her stats:

Weight: 14 lb. 1 oz (25th percentile)
Height: 26 1/4 inch (75th percentile)
Head: 16 1/2 inches (25th percentile)

One of my friends calls her Feather since she is so light. Her pediatrician was not concerned at all. She has stayed on her own growth curve and is gaining weight.

Do not underestimate Lulu. She may be tiny but she appears to be in a huge hurry to grow up! Yep, she is crawling. She's still pretty awkward at it - she has not yet figured out how to get her legs and arms in tandem with each other. Wouldn't you know that the baby that I want to stay little forever is the one that is in the biggest hurry to catch up with her siblings! I have some baby proofing to do!

We hear you on teeny tiny - Isabel was 13 pounds 9 ounces at 6 months (and she's only 23 pounds now and she'll be 3 in October!).

And I totally agree that having two older siblings makes that 3rd baby want to keep up with everything. And they're the one you want to stay little for just a little bit longer! Funny how that works.

Can't believe Addie's crawling!!! She's a doll.

After seeing some of the teeny gals in the Olympics, I'd say Addie might be a future gymnastics gold winner. Nicole was small, too, and loved gymnastics until she broke her arm 2 years in a row and meets started being on Sundays. Do I see gymnastics and dance classes in Addie's future?
