Tonight after our date we had a few minutes to walk around the mall. We went into American Eagle to check out some things for our trip. After we were in there for a couple minutes I turned to Al and told him that the music was much too loud for my taste. Seriously, I am getting old, or something. It's kind of frightening. Then, as I was browsing through a stack of itty bitty tshirts, the 16 year old sales girl asked me if she could help me. I asked her what size she thought I needed (we haven't shopped here for awhile) and she said, "oh, you're looking for yourself?" Hello, do I LOOK like I'm old enough to have a teenaged daughter? Crap. In the end, we got out of there with a few cute things. Al loves their clothes but hasn't really bought anything there since college. I convinced him that now that he is out of graduate school (going straight from work to classes and never wearing anything but work clothes), he really does need casual clothes again.
In other news, if you want to eat at PF Changs, make sure you have a reservation. I didn't even know they took reservations so we showed up tonight and there was a two hour wait (at 6:00 p.m.) We ended up at Cheesecake Factory, which isn't too bad but I have been really craving lettuce wraps and Mongolian Beef. Oh well, next time. (By the way, we tried something new at CF tonight - Shrimp Scampi. In one word. Heavenly. Wow! I was expecting shrimp in butter but it came in a creamy sauce with fresh basil and tomatoes.)
Have a great weekend!
