I used those paper maiche letters that you can get at any craft store, painted them and covered them in coordinating paper and then embellished them a little bit. 2 hours to make two complete sets - one for me, one for my sister. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out for the amount of work that I put into it. Looks fabulous on my mantle.
2. We have deemed this year as the year of the non chain restaurant. There are just way too many cool little restaurants around to waste every dining experience on your run in the mill eating establishment. We love Mexican food but are disappointed 99% of the time with the recommendations we get from people for restaurants. Take Mexican food in Provo. In Provo, Los Hermanos is practically a religion. But neither of us can stand that place. Sign us up for our hole in the wall El Azteca any day, over nasty Los Hermanos. (Am I going to be kicked out of some club because of this?!) So this weekend we ate at a fantastic little place called Oobas. We were not disappointed this time! Casual dining at it's best. If you're ever in Seattle, you must eat here, it was outstanding. We actually can't wait to go again very soon.
3. I saw the coolest tshirt on another blog I read. It said, "practice random acts of crafting" I must have one. I think it's hilarious.

Okay SERIOUSLY! Will you PLEASE come to my house and craft for me, or at least finish some of my unfinished projects?
We hear you about the restaurant thing. We love finding new restaurants. Although, if we had a Mac Grill around here, I'd change my mind! When we were in Seattle, we'd eat at this place called Gulliver's whenever we went to the temple. I don't remember exactly where it is, but it was pretty good! You should try it!
