So, you may already know this about us but we don't watch TV on Sunday. Al grew up in a family that didn't and we've adopted the practice in our own home now and we actually really like it. But this also means that he has NEVER seen a Superbowl game. Yep, never. He and his friend Blake got the brilliant idea to DVR the game and start watching it at 12:01 a.m. this morning. Neither of them wanted to go to work without knowing the outcome because they knew everyone would be talking about it. I thought they were crazy but they did it. Al went to bed when we put the kids to bed at 8:00 and then got up right before midnight when Blake came over. They even had a pretty nice spread of food. I stayed up just long enough to take this picture of them with the clock. Al wants to make this an annual tradition!

What a great idea. Wish Philip would adopt it - so I could sleep through the whole thing! :)
