Welcome Nathan Hinkley!

This morning my sister-in-law Elizabeth gave birth to a new baby boy, Nathan Hinkley! She was a trooper and had a long, hard labor and finally gave birth to a 10 lb. 15 oz. boy (and for those who don't know, my SIL is a tiny girl). We are so happy for them and can't wait to see pictures of the newest member of our family.

Al's mom called with the news this morning while Carter and I were still snuggling in bed. I told him he had a new cousin and he got very excited. He said, "mom, you need to have another baby. A boy baby." Then he told me he needs 5 brothers and sisters, but then changed his mind and said he needs 10. LOL. Like that will EVER happen (on either account). I told him that if we had that many kids he would have to be a big helper and help mom change diapers. So this afternoon after lunch he changed Makenna's diaper, totally unprovoked by me. He's really working hard to convince me. Isn't that hilarious?

Ah, c'mon, you KNOW you want a housefull of babies! Avery told me she wants me to have another baby sister, that Briar isn't fun enough, and then the other day she drew a 'fat' picture of me -- she said I was pregnant!
