100 Books before Kindergarten

I found this list of the 100 books children should have read to them before Kindy. Since I know a lot of us will have new Kindergartners in the fall I thought I'd pass it along. We've read (and own) about half of the books on the list. I know what we'll be checking out from the library this summer!

It was fun to see how many of those we've read/own. We just love kids books, I can't get enough! Thanks for the link. :)

Thanks for the awesome list. I am starting to really stress about school. I just hope the kids are fully ready.

K, I'm back to share a small world moment.... I was reading a friend's blog, and noticed a comment from a girl in my old ward. So, I linked thru to her blog, and there noticed that she had a link in her side bar to "Frost Family", so I'm thinking, could that be A&M? Well, it wasn't but it was obvious from the second I connected through that it was Alan's brother - they look sooo much alike! And, sure enough, there was a link to your blog at the top of their link list. Anyway, so funny. I can't tell you how many times that kind of thing has happened to me in blog land. It truly is a small, small world!

This is a great link, I am always on the lookout for great kids books and when I let my kids choose they always choose the ones with TV characters. Thanks! Kindergarten, can you BELIEVE it?!?!?

Great list, thanks for sharing it! We've read/own a bunch, but there are lots we haven't read. Don't you feel like kindergarten is the beginning of a whole new world? Crazy!
