Carter's class had a fun sand and water day this week that I was able to help with. His adorable teacher set up about 8 different stations for the kids to play at with different sand/water activities. It was 110 on the day of the activities so the water was wonderful. Here are a few pictures:
Making sand art:

Playing in the sand & water:

Running through the Sprinklers:

Finishing up with a snow cone:

She also had huge buckets set up with waterbombs that the kids (and dads) threw at each other (Carter's favorite), sand and water tables and a couple additional craft projects.
I broke down and got a babysitter for the girls (Addie's first ever) so I could really help and enjoy the day without worrying about and chasing my other kids. Addie did great and slept the entire time I was gone! It was a great day and the kids had a wonderful time!

110!! Yikes! Send us about 25 degrees and then we'll both be just about perfect. What a fun day for Carter!
What a fun idea! I wish our weather would warm up a bit, but not quite all the way to 110.
PS. Did you like the AI outcome? And isn't So You Think You Can Dance going to be fabulous this year?!!!
Carter is a total cutie! What a fun day! Harrison's class had a water day on Wednesday, and the kids were outside in bathing suits in the 60's - brrrr, but their teacher didn't want to disappoint them and cancel.
Wow - 110 already? Looks like a great time; sand and water is always a magic kid formula. Yay for a good first babysitting experience for Addie!
AW...he even looks hot. What a fun day--but 110 already? That is not right. Were you cooler the last few days? We were at 105 at the beginning of the week and will be at 65 tomorrow. os confusing.
A perfect activity. My kids would live in the sand and water if I let them. Looks like they all had fun!
